Argentinian Red Shrimp Mac n Cheese

Argentinian Red Shrimp Mac n Cheese with Elbow Macaroni in a creamy cheese sauce

Inspired by Louisiana-Creole style cooking, our chef-curated Low Country Shrimp Boil meal is prepared using sweet, buttery tasting Argentinian red shrimp wild caught off the Patagonian coastline from a BRC (British Retail Consortium) Certified fishery. Our shrimp is deveined and deshelled by hand and accompanied by mouthwatering cheddar flavored grits, and a gumbo style mix of vegetables and sausage, and topped with a mild habanero butter.

Ingredients:

Cooking Instructions:

Standard Oven on Bake @400°F
Convection Cooking @ 375°F
Cooking @ 800W +

Meal is sealed with OVEN PROOF plastic film. 

Oven Bake

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F using standard oven bake or 375°F using convection bake.
  2. Remove bowl from sleeve and place on flat surface. Using a fork, pierce film 2 or 3 times closest to the border. Place frozen meal in microwave* and cook for 1.30 minutes on high.
  3. Carefully remove bowl from microwave by its two handles and place on baking tray (be careful contents are hot).
  4. Cook for 15 – 17 minutes in your preheated oven or until fully cooked. Remove bowl from oven, discard film, stir shrimp, vegetables, grains, and sauce together and let sit for 1 minute before eating. Enjoy!

Microwave

  1. Remove bowl from sleeve and place on flat surface. Using a fork, pierce film 2 or 3 times closest to the border.
  2. Place frozen meal in microwave* and cook for 4 minutes on high.
  3. Carefully remove bowl from microwave by its two handles, place on flat surface, and discard film (be careful contents are hot).
  4. Stir shrimp, pasta, and sauce together and cook for an additional 1.30 minutes or until fully cooked. Remove bowl from microwave and let sit for 1 minute before eating. Enjoy!

If no microwave available, follow these instructions.

* If no microwave available, preheat oven, remove bowl from sleeve, and pierce film 2 or 3 times closest to the border. Place on baking tray and cook for 15 minutes. Remove bowl from oven, discard film, stir shrimp, pasta, and sauce together. Cover with foil and finish baking 5 – 10 minutes or until fully cooked. Remove from oven and let sit for 1 minute before eating.

 

Individual ovens and microwaves vary in temperature; therefore, these instructions serve as guidelines only. Cook to an internal temperature of 145°F for best product quality and food safety.
