Wild caught off the beautiful coast of Ecuador from a fishery well established in a Fisheries Improvement Plan, our mahi mahi is expertly deboned, deskinned, hand cut to size, and quick frozen to lock in freshness and quality. Accompanied by locally sourced wild rice blend and vegetables, and the topped with a delicious sweetcorn butter. This mahi meal is a nicely rounded dish ideal for lunch or dinner!

Ingredients:

Mahi Mahi Fillet (Coryphaena Hippurus), Wild Rice Blend (Cooked Wild Rice [Wild Rice, Water], Cooked Wheatberries [Wheatberries, Water], Cooked Black Barley [Black Barley, Water]), Red Bell Pepper Strips, Green Bell Pepper Strips, Onion Strips, Sweet Corn Blend Butter Pucks (European Style Butter Blend [Vegetable Oil Blend {Palm and Palm Kernel Oil, Soybean Oil}, Skim Milk, Butter {Cream, Salt}, Contains Less Than 2% of Natural Flavor, Vitamin A Palmitate Added, Beta Carotene {Color}, Salt], Corn, Sugar, Cilantro, Dehydrated Onion, Key West Lime Juice [Filtered Water, Lime Juice Concentrates, Lime Oil], Turmeric, Peppercorn Mélange [Black Peppercorn, White Peppercorns, Pink Peppercorns {Schinus Terebinthifolius}, and Green Peppercorns], Xanthan Gum, Unfiltered Extra Virgin Olive Oil), Edamame, Italian Herbs (Garlic, Onion, Basil, Parsley, Oregano, Thyme, Red Pepper, Black Pepper).

Cooking Instructions:

Standard Oven on Bake @400°F
Convection Cooking @ 375°F
Cooking @ 800W +

Meal is sealed with OVEN PROOF plastic film. 

Oven Bake

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F using standard oven bake or 375°F using convection bake.
  2. Remove tray from sleeve and place on flat surface. Using a fork, pierce film once on each of the 4 sides closest to the border. Place frozen meal in microwave* and cook for 1.30 minutes on high.
  3. Carefully remove tray from microwave by its corners and place on baking tray (be careful contents are hot).
  4. Cook for 15 – 17 minutes in your preheated oven or until fully cooked. Remove tray from the oven, discard film, and stir vegetables, grains, and sauce together. Spoon butter or sauce over the fish and let sit for 1 minute before eating. Enjoy!

Microwave

  1. Remove tray from sleeve and place on flat surface. Using a fork, pierce film once on each of the 4 sides closest to the border.
  2. Place frozen meal in microwave* and cook for 4 minutes on high.
  3. Carefully remove tray from microwave by its corners, place on flat surface, and discard film (be careful contents are hot).
  4. Turn fish over, stir vegetables, grains, and sauce together and cook for an additional 2 minutes or until fully cooked. Remove tray from microwave. Spoon butter or sauce over fish and let sit for 1 minute before eating. Enjoy!

If no microwave available, follow these instructions.

*If no microwave available, preheat oven, remove tray from sleeve, and pierce film once on each of the 4 sides closest to the border. Place on baking tray and cook for 20 minutes. Remove tray from oven, discard film and stir vegetables, grains, and sauce together. Spoon butter or sauce over fish, cover with foil and finish baking for 15 – 20 minutes or until fully cooked. Remove from oven and let sit for 1 minute before eating.

Individual ovens and microwaves vary in temperature; therefore, these instructions serve as guidelines only. Cook to an internal temperature of 145°F for best product quality and food safety.
